May 16, 2024. GoodShip secured $8 million in Series A funding led by Bessemer Venture Partners. The round built on a $5 million seed round raised in 2023 and brought total funding at the time to approximately $15.4 million.

The announcement coincided with two product launches: an AI-powered RFP scenario builder, which lets shippers model award outcomes against cost, service thresholds and incumbency before committing, and industry-first in-app collaboration capabilities connecting shippers and their carriers inside the procurement workflow.

GoodShip's platform connects to a shipper's existing TMS and unifies tender, contract and market rate data so transportation teams can benchmark lanes, run bids, scorecard carriers and monitor routing guide compliance in one system.
