October 27, 2023. FreightWaves profiled a group of less-visible freight technology companies changing how supply chains operate — the firms building infrastructure behind the scenes rather than competing for attention as marketplaces or brokerages.

GoodShip was among the companies featured. The company's position in that group is deliberate: GoodShip does not move freight, broker loads or replace a transportation management system. It sits on top of the systems a shipper already runs, turning tender, contract and market rate data into procurement and carrier management decisions.

The article was published roughly five months after GoodShip's $5 million seed round and a year before the company's first appearance in the FreightTech 25.
